... chocolate, though it did have a store at the end so after staring at chocolate for an hour it was impossible not to buy any. Walking around the building after a big day yesterday and not the best of sleeps resulted in us getting tired pretty quickly. Slowly finding time to update my blog. Sunday was a slowish day, had a sleep in before heading to a World Culture Day event were I met Yuri, a nice Japanese girl who wanted to practice English with me and asked to be my friend. We've now sent a couple of emails but without Caitlin to translate, the conversation doesn't go far. Afterwards we went and ordered far too much Chinese but had yummy dumplings so it was all good.
Yay, Monday ...
... soup with one of the teachers from Caitlin's school at a little hut tucked away in the middle of nowhere. An older gentleman brought our food into the one room hut and cooked live fish in front of us. An experience to say the least, but all so delicious and fresh. Plus plenty of warm sake to help it all go down :)
