Cinque Terre

A travel blog entry by jazandlouis

... for dinner, as we hadn't explored this town very thoroughly the previous day. We found plenty of small cobbled streets filled with cafes, bars, shops and people everywhere. It really is a great town to be in, so it depends what you are after when choosing where to stay. Amazingly some friends were staying in Monterosso at exactly the same time we were in CT, but I didn't get their fb msg until we were on the train to rome the following ...

Definitely luck, not stupidity.

This is a top pick!

... Unfortunately Italian’s seem busy, as they squish at the bar, swig while standing and leave, wasting all the effort.

Thankfully my day started with this simple pleasure, as for the rest of it there was none. There was absolutely nothing pretty or special about the road towards Pisa. Finally the lady who was waiting came up to our window, and spoke to us in Italian ...

Day Eighteen - Pisa

A travel blog entry by mikeyhand

Our final stop was Pisa.

I thought the tower was smaller than expected, Jess thought it was larger. Pisa was a nice looking town and the square that had the leaning tower and church was packed with people. We didn't walk up the tower but I did help keep it from falling over. The church was nice looking. We had some ice cream again and walked around until we left for Florence.
