Sadly the Royal Palace was closed so we visited the Rosenberg Palace instead. This was apparently a centre for Distressed Noblewomen (read "poor spinsters") that was established by the Austrian Empress Marie Therese when Prague was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. ... and out over time. We went for a walk into the forest which took about 3 hours looking at the various rocks which are said to look like certain things. It was quite cool to think we were actually walking on the ocean floor, and we were reminded of this as the path we walked along was covered in sand. We had fun trying to spot the formations in the rocks! Towards the end there was 300 steps we could walk up ...
... That crazy awesome website airbnb.com exists. Find your host, pay very few money and enjoy unique possibility to enter someones life without disturbing them or without them disturbing you. We found a dutch family, who are spending their summers in CZ village and renting rooms. We had possibility to know more about them, see a huge green property, the very old camden and old rooms with a lot of stuff. It was different, it was amazing :)
