We set Heidi to the Eco route and set off. Getting out of Gdansk was easy and then once again we headed off into unknown regions on narrow lanes. Not so much traffic but still not much room for two cars. Eventually we got to Ustka, a resort town with lovely beach on the Baltic coast. Mostly local folks and Germans on holiday. Once again a galleon ride costing $5. Amazing prices. We had coffee in the sun then continued on along the coast via Darlowo ...

... arrived at our next town of Grambin. It was right on the Szczecin Lagoon which is connected to the Baltic Sea. Looking across the lagoon from where we were you would be looking at Poland towards the right.
We rode our bikes to the next big town of Ueckermunde, a 10 km round trip. It was flat all the way and I didn't fall off. There we found a cute little canal waterfront and small village atmosphere. ...

I'm actually happy to skip breakfast and break up camp early. This isn't a good spot for camping. There are millions of small, white insects and midgies. I start walking to the direction of Anklam. My chance to wash myself. Something I've ...

... and five people on the beach. I can use some cheerful company and I ask if I can join them. That's no problem but they'll be going home today. We have a good time though. I have some beer and cannabis. A couple of hours later, four of the party go and I'm left with one other guy who's fast asleep. I put up my tent. It's not long before I breakup camp again. It's just to messy. They left so much garbage. When I finish breaking up, the other guy wakes up. ...

... is leaking on the same place. With help from the water I can see it's not in the same place. The whole I fixed is not letting out any air. Good, I'll fix the other hole too. The water is very clear and I wash myself while I'm waiting for the glue to dry. Hoping that mattress will be okay tonight, I go back to the centre of the city. I spend some time in the library making plans. I decide I'll be heading south from now on. I'll ...
