... guessed Steinach then you win a pat on the back! Any ideas about Neckarsulm or Neckargerach? Yes for the first, but the second was renamed Seebach in 1676. No Final Jeopardy for you.

Remember what two bodies of water that converge are called? One of my favourite words: confluence. Know of any? Murray and Darling Rivers perhaps? Neckar and Rhine Rivers?

It is sort of hard to imagine that going for a swim in the river to wash yourself would be a wild event that would be so dangerous! I particularly like the word Baderei. ... Market stalls of everything Christmas and 2 foot long Bratwurst sandwiches - that got Dan & Clint very excited. Us girls took a cleaner dinner option - delicious corn on the cob.
Clint found a Christmas snow globe that he had to have, then he found another stall with one that almost made him cry with excitement. Two snow globes in the bag and the kids ate Santa shaped ginger bread for dessert.

Underneath the castle, there was a cellar full of massive wine barrels. The one in the photo is actually the small one; the big one was so huge that four people could have stood on each other's shoulders and the barrel still would have been taller. We got to walk up some stairs and stand on top of the barrel, which was very fun.
