... except the thumb and forefinger laying across his chest. It was weird, Clancy and I think he's an alien!

RIO DOLORES, I took Duncan's, advice after asking "what do the locals do"?... We walked about 3km down an eerie track to the local river.
Clancy "it feels really eerie"
ME "I know, it's like we are not alone"
Clancy, " yes, that's exactly what it feels like"
ME "it's because it's true"

Not so nice weather today. After going out on the horses again we reached the top of the world (highest point on ranch), it started to rain. It absolutely chucked it down as well. we took refuge in this abandoned house to have lunch and attempt to dry off. It was planned to do some lassooing at the main house but as it was raining and we were soaked through couldn't do that. ended up at posh end of ranch ...
... last night we had Lasso lessons. After a few goes at trying to catch a tree I managed to catch Simon instead. At dinner the residential sheep tried to eat my fleece from back of chair, they would come over for pats and cuddles, along with Harvey the owners dog, who swam in the $400USD night accomm guest pool!! On last day of horse riding we walked back to Estancia from guest accomm with Harvey as our guide. Twas a good few days in the countryside..
