The rooms are spacious with king size beds or twin beds. There is a comfortable chair to relax in while watching TV and a desk and chair if needed. The beds are comfortable, with two pillows per person which should suit most people. The shower is great with wonderful flow and a shower rose that sprays in the one direction. The provided requisites are good. A free bottle of water is provided. The hotel has a large lounge area where you can relax have a drink and purchase a snack. A restaurant, The Shanghai, provides traditional food and just outside the front entrance is a local eating place which serves enjoyable Chinese foods, at a very reasonable price. The reception staff could be a little more friendly, but were efficient. A very good place to stay.

'The Dragon's Gate and West Hill' and 'The Golden Temple and Hall of Supreme Harmony ' were on our sightseeing list for the day. A long chairlift ride close to the side of West Hill took us up to the top of the mountain. The ride just clearing the vegetation below allowed us to feel and see the Forest below, while getting a wonderful view of …

The day got off to a good start having enjoyed the night in a spacious room on the 19th floor of the Ji Jiang Hotel. The comfortable bed and pillows hit the spot after the long flight and four hour touch down in Hong Kong. We arrived at the hotel restaurant to find a procrastinator's nightmare, the room overflowing with a myriad of …

A 9am start to the airport for our flight to Kunming. Hong Kong airport is not very enjoyable. There are few seats except linked to eating places unless you go to the gate. We had to hang around for a couple of hours, not pleasant. The flight was full of very excited people returning with lots of shopping and huge appetites. I think they all had …
