... the golden sand, clear waters and relaxed atmosphere I am now craving! I have two weeks in Indonesia so I plan to spend the rest of the time hopping over to a couple of other islands then onto Java, one of the biggest in the archipelago - where the capital Jakarta is. On Java I'm hoping to see the biggest Buddha in South East Asia, do a sunrise trek up a volcano and avoid any earthquakes after yesterday's tragedy. I will keep you updated...<br>

... place is literally teeming with thousands of young people just looking to get loaded and have intercourse. It's like Th Kho San times 50... on the beach. It is the Britney Spears to the Philippines' Celine Dion. All the stereotypes of this place are true - Its BIG, its LOUD, and its CROWDED - but the beach is simply perfect (if you can make it out through the hundreds of touts and surfers).... certainly a nice change of pace. Not only does he dance around the fire dressed as a horse made out of very flammable reeds, but he then starts to kick the fire around (basically mostly at us in the front row!) then walk all over it bare footed.
