    ... street in Hakata comprised of some 130 shops. We found some interesting shops where we bought some small Hakata type ornaments as well as an art print at at paper shop. We had our lunch at the shopping arcade at LA Hamburger shop. We had burgers, fries, beer, and coffee - an all-American meal. We made a short stop at a nearby shrine called Kushida Shrine. We had heard from another backpacker that it was easy to hitchhike back down to town so we decided to start walking and if we had no luck, the bus would pass us.     ... through and is famous for it's many onsen. Everywhere were ducts letting out steam and signs for onsen. We stopped for lunch in a tiny cafe.
