... who I will be sharing the same flight towards Frankfurt with on Thursday. I ended up working double shift at reception at the hostel, played guitar with the locals twice and, though dinner was always amazing, I ate out because I didn't see why I should pay 29.000 if I can have Indonesian Nasi Campur for 12.000 Rp. I'm glad I got out of Bali for these couple of days to make new experiences. On my way back I had company of Aldi, who ...

When the plane was about to land this morning, I started crying. A sudden wave of uncertainty came over me. What am I doing?? Alone in the house, nothing to do?! What if something happens?! And then the ...

We had decided to treat ourselves to a spot of luxury in bali, as the honeymoon part of our trip. We had found the number 1 rated place in Amed and booked it well in advance. Amed is actually a collection of villages along the East coast of bali, and the hotel was located in the tiny fishing village of Lean. Amed beaches are black sand and are covered in the boats that go out fishing ...

Tulamben! The morning after arriving we started the Advanced Open Water Certification course. The course allows us to dive up to 30 meters (instead of 18), and also learn some more skills (night diving, perfect buoyancy, navigation, etc). Thankfully there is no book studying involved this time. Our instructor, Sara, is originally from Barcelona, but has been traveling the world instructing for the last seven years. She is sweet and funny on land, but once her ...

Trip must go on and we had to leave our paradise Island. Before that, we had one last evening out with our new friends from Blue marlin. Some drinking games and vodka joss (ofc!) we hit the beach party for hours of dancing. Decided that we should stay on beach until sunrise and eventually fall asleep. Waking up to an very empty beach and just in time to see the sun climb over the mountains of Lombok across the sea. Agin, stunning moment. Flip flop were stolen but totally ...
