... who I will be sharing the same flight towards Frankfurt with on Thursday. I ended up working double shift at reception at the hostel, played guitar with the locals twice and, though dinner was always amazing, I ate out because I didn't see why I should pay 29.000 if I can have Indonesian Nasi Campur for 12.000 Rp. I'm glad I got out of Bali for these couple of days to make new experiences. On my way back I had company of Aldi, who ...

And then the ...

      ... flight!

Yes it's a stunningly beautiful Island but for me it's the amazingly happy and welcoming people here that add that extra bit in making it somewhere truly special. You walk down a street and random people smile and say hello. You ride past children in tiny villages and they rush out with big grins on their faces to wave at you and shout hello as you ...

Tulamben! The morning after arriving we started the Advanced Open Water Certification course. The course allows us to dive up to 30 meters (instead of 18), and also learn some more skills (night diving, perfect buoyancy, navigation, etc). Thankfully there is no book studying involved this time. Our instructor, Sara, is originally from Barcelona, but has been traveling the world instructing for the last seven years. She is sweet and funny on land, but once her ...
