Ksar Massa Agadir

We hit the big city of Agadir, it's a bit of a big hotel kinda of place. Big, sandy, crescent shaped beach which nobody was using at the time we were there. My room has sea views and I can hear the surf from my room (as well as all the other sounds of Moroccan music and activity, in particular the goats wandering the alleys). <br><br>I'll be here till mid August, then I'll travel the country for a bit. So strange feelings, so cool... =) I am really in Love with the Ocean!<br><br>All red and tatooed, I returned to the hotel to eat something, and then we went to the hall to see the Morroccan show - there was a wedding as a show... But not such interesting, so soon we left to spend some time near the pool, all our group, sip some wine and talk=)<br><br>Tired after such a lot of sun, I soon left for bed.<br>

... a small pool, two tennis courts and one voleyball court and that's all! No territory at all! The restaurants are poor with food, waiters could be my great-grandparents, the tables near the window are inhabited by ants... The rooms: way too simple. Conditioner exists, but is not working, oopsie! When our toilet paper ended, it was changed only on the next day after! That's disgusting!<br><br>Well, after a shower we fell asleep... It was hard day...

... Agadir, at this time of the year, is not exactly JFK. It was about the quietest airport I've seen in a long time, and so orderly, no touts, no mess. Nobody. A few tour buses were waiting for package tourists, and in the distance a few taxis. They must have known about the situation and were asking for quite a high price, 15 Euro to go into town and 30 Euro to my hotel a little north of ...

... was nothing more for me here. Leaving town we continued on and saw something we were waiting to take pics of -- the goats eating the Argun trees. We hopped out and tried not to scare them out of the trees so we could get our shot. They are really nimble and get to some really high points in the trees ! Back on the bus we arrived in Agadir and it felt like we were in a different country - it was like being at a resort town ...

In the morning we met Inaki and Maite, the spanish couple from San Sebastian with which we agreed to to keep in touch as they're going to Senegal. We also organised to meet for lunch and then agreed to camp together on the cliffs of Oued Ma Fatma (although I had enventually prefered to stay in the previous one). There we camped on the ...
