      ... can get you onto serious trouble. While Morocco has a liberal attitude to alcohol it is forbidden by the Islamic religion.

      As it worked out today the guy selling us new wiper blades, the old ones were in fact falling apart, wanted to negotiate a discount if we give him beer. We just said that we did not have any beer.

      ... pouring with rain and we then needed to find a taxi and a hostel to stay at. Upon finding a taxi he preceded to rip us off charging us twice the price as we didn't know how much it should be and it pouring with rain and no other taxis in sight he knew he could get away with it. Next the hostel we hoped to stay at was full and we then had to wander around in the rain for 10 minutes to find our second choice. This turned out to be reasonably nice so it wasn't ...

      ... fronted for breakfast in the very large cafeteria style room and if one ignored the surroundings, the breakfast was OK and better than we expected with quite a variety of hot and cold dishes but oh the coffee - awful. But the days ahead improved. And part of this was getting out of the hotel. We enjoyed long walks along the wild beach.       ... coastal town of essouria and then headed south in a taxi to did I kauoki. We knew very well it is about a 10 dirham taxi ride ($1.30 aud) and some tried to charge us 150,100 and 15.
