... this was where we were going. We stopped off at a small local market to taste test some tea before having a very yummy lunch nearby. After lunch we went to one of the actual tea plantations were we walked through the fields of tea plants and enjoyed the view just as the sun began to set. We then left the mountains heading back to Chiang Rai in time for dinner and another early night.

... We grabbed a bite to eat and boarded the boat. We were soon gliding noisily downstream, the spectacular scenery unfolding before us. ... will not be finished until 2020. The white temple is quite a draw for tourists. Upon entering the grounds we had already passed an image of the Predator rising out of the ground. The temple itself is stunning as its been constructed with intricate designs throughout and has been finished in white paint and broken bits of mirror to give it a shine.
