... 15 minute casual walk down one road. Nice relaxed bazaar with two stages with live performances and great little snack places littered through the hundreds of retailers. I spent a couple of hours wandering around and then headed back to the hostel, happy that i now knew my way around the area and making a plan for the next day.

... for the lowest class bus (which we took) was only 144 baht! After buying the tickets, we went for breakfast at a little cafe across the street. Though it was pretty and very clean, the food was just ok and even Chantal didn't really like their coffee. Day 5 of our Northern Thailand Tour

... a look at the "Highway" and went for a little walk.

We took a boat trip on the Mekong and crossed over to Laos where we could do some shopping. We went to the "Golden Triangle" where the countries: Laos, Myanmar and Thailand meet - you can also see China from there. And of course you cannot go without visiting a temple on the way.

After a long day we said goodbye to everyone on the tour and packed our bags to continue our trip the next day...
