... roasted sweet potato, poached quail eggs, spring rolls, a cup of sweetcorn, various roasted meats on sticks, some peanut brittle, and a skewer of mushrooms wrapped in bacon, all washed down with fresh fruit juice. Life is good!

The next day we put all that train station cooking class research to good use by doing a full day class with Basil Cookery. It was a bit of a slow start to the day as we drove around trying to find the 8 ...

We wrapped up our meal and met our driver for our transport back to the hotel. We reached ...

We were encouraged to buy the things they were making as the people are a proud people but very poor. By purchasing their products you are putting money in their pockets which they do need. We did barter a bit but not too harshly.

Again it was time to move on and we had had a really lovely day. Highlights for us was the white temple and the Karen people.

Tomorrow is a whole new day and we are very excited..........
