... made it look like my car was parked on the road. They HAD to be doing 160-160kmph.

As a result, you had to pay real close attention when you pull out to pass in case you get a speed demon in your trunk.

Now, Rothenburg - it is a town of storybook scenes. The streets, the houses, the hotels, the gardens - everything. There is not much to report in the way of activities - it was more photo opportunities

... 2 subway trains to take us to the Paris train station, however, one stop was closed so we had to make 3 subway stops. We knew we were cutting it close as our train left at 9:06. We were doing well and waiting to catch the last subway which was only one stop away when an announcement was made. Of course it was in French so not sure ...

... different colours, to make sure I would get the right way, as he understands too, getting into a city is easy, but out......anyway, his help is greatly appreciated. (I hope he reads this message)
The attached pictures will give you a little impression of today. As in Nurnberg, the warm weather seems to bring people in a real festive mood, an African music festival currently here in Bayreuth topped it really up!

... some lunch and then we said our goodbyes and left for Rothenburg. The traffic by the major cities in Germany was absolutely painful. A four hour drive ended up being about five and a half so it wasn't desirable at all. At least we had each other's company. The drive was beautiful nonetheless. We got to Rothenburg just as the sun was setting. It is such a picturesque town built inside the old city walls. We drove to about ten hotels and literally none had room. ...
