Took the train from Nuremberg to Munich. Encountered a group of refugees. Pretty difficult to get through with all the police that were there as well. I thought we might miss our train!! We didn't miss this connection although it is really full. One more transfer and we will be in ...

All three of the boys went zip lining three times to three different places. One was this extreme zip line place called Flying Fox XXX (not because it was triple X rated in a porn sort of way - but because it was XXX rated like in a dying, crazy scary, extra long, extra fast, freakishly insane adrenaline sort of way!) Our shuttle driver took us back down the mountain ...

The house sits on the Falzkopf peak at 1908m, quite a bit higher than the car park at 766m, but the Watzmann has three main peaks ranging from 2650m to 2713m making it Germany’s second tallest mountain after the Zugspitze.

Steffie checked her time and she thought the time was wrong. It was only 10:45am; we had climbed ...

    Howdy folks,

Today we set off for our real European Vacation, a roadtrip down to a part of Germany called Oberbayern (Upper Bavaria), pretty much as far south as you can drive towards the Alps before you cross over into Austria. A roadtrip requires a lot of organisation and planing. It isn't like jumping on a plane with a suitcase and flying off to the Bahamas, it requires more forward planing and considerations like driving time, weather and drinking around the ...
