... Vienna opera house, street musicians performing in the streets. Vienna is a shoppers dream, which I would compare with London, Paris or New York. There is a street (actually 3 or 4 blocks) which is referred to as the "unaffordable street". We saw many well known stores: Mont Blanc, Louis Vuitton, Ferrari, Maserati, Tiffany, etc. We spent 3.5 days in Vienna, visiting the ...

... a bit out of the way for getting to Salzburg but many pretty scenes, houses and mountains were evident on the road there. This little town is very pretty indeed – high, snowy mountains and a great big lake. Plenty of pretty little houses also. We had a good walk around – took plenty of photos including a funny one of Craig wearing an interesting hat – he looks so much like Poppa in that photo. Only bad thing was that ...

... We headed back to the Hotel Gosthof Brau for supper. Tonight Erin had Grostl, Derek had Schnitzle Cordon Bleu, and Larry and I shared a Brauhautfand'l and I had a mixed salad. For dessert we shared one apple strudel. When we got back I got two loads of laundry ready and went down to do it but the laundry was locked. Bummer! We all blogged etc. while listening to German music we brought with us. Then it was time for bed.
