... well, chime isn;t the best word really. More like someone was pulling all the chords at once and it was the worst bell racket we have ever heard!

Fleeing the churchyards we returned to the hotel for dinner before I collapsed into bed for the night. After checking in with friends back home and closing bathroom doors because the motion detector lighting keep picking up my movements, I pretty much passed out. This last leg of the ...

... increased from 21 to 35 degrees. Go figure that one out! There are lots of Ausfarhts in Switzerland although I didn't see any traffic on them. The scenery in Switzerland is breath taking. The Lauterbrunnen Valley outside of Interlaken is one of the most visited in the region, and the town of Lauterbrunnen is an ideal home base for visiting towns on either side of the valley. On one side of the valley, the small towns of Gimmelwald, Muerren and Stechelberg are popular and also ...

    Calais to Sarnen.

Didn't get much sleep last night, the hotel ranks as a one of the worst. Noisy, uncomfortable, not en suite, you get the picture.

Went for the basic breakfast and then the plan was to meet the rest of the rally at a car park in Calais at approx. 8:30am.

First though, the day 1 fancy dress, I have to say we were both killing ourselves laughing getting ...
