We took the bus back into town. The train would have done this in 10 minutes but the track was out of order this week. Then we walked around the old town. The pastries here are fantastic! My favorite, strudel of all kinds, and it is everywhere. We walked across the Chapel Bridge, an old wooden bridge spanning the end of Lake Lucerne.

Sarnen is an absolutely breathtaking town that i wasn't able to fully capture with my iPhone camera. The lake has crystal blue water and is surrounded on three sides by beautiful ...

Went for the basic breakfast and then the plan was to meet the rest of the rally at a car park in Calais at approx. 8:30am.

First though, the day 1 fancy dress, I have to say we were both killing ourselves laughing getting ...

Rainy Days in Lucerne

... a button to get more water every 30 seconds. So we decided to splurge and go to a movie on our second day in Lucerne. We saw Rock of Ages, and thankfully it was in English with foreign subtitles! It was so nice to be able to sit there and chill for the afternoon, and also stuff our faces with large bags of popcorn. That night we went out to Rathaus Brauerei for some home-brewed beer, yummm, and then turned in for the night to get ready for a long train ride to ...
