Imperia was a great little place and even though we only had one night and day there it was good to see the cousins's and met there beautiful children. I would have liked to have stayed longer and in hindsight if we had one less day in Budapest and Milan we could have stayed a little longer but that just means I have to come ...

Monaco is magnificent!!! And I thought the Queen Mary II was opulent!

I took the tourist bus from Nice and I got lucky. Risk Steves says it's the best way to get to Monaco and see the sights along the way and apparently everyone in Nice today had read the same book! But I lucked out. I got to ...

Last excursion of my cruise brought us by tender into the port at Villefranche, France. The port is lovely. It has lots of small yachts and sailboats moored around the dock. The surrounding coastline is beautiful and all of the house are an appealing pastel colour.
We took a nice, winding drive around the coast and our dual tour guides gave us an update on what we were seeing in both Spanish and English.
It did detract from the experience somewhat because ...
