... is for sure one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The owners are just fantastically friendly and go out their way to make your stay so much better.

The place was extremely busy with tourists and it was now I was beginning to wonder if they have any free rooms. I soon find the kind lady who runs the place and she unfortunately tells me she has no rooms available.

With no rooms available she gets on the phone and soon tells me there is a hotel about 6 ...

... IPad and I was well beaten by Jenny as is mostly the case. No Wifi in the room but it is advertised so will ask about it. Was not too interested in the TV show which had naked men and women dancing with a block of concrete. ... br> parallel to the main motorway (which appeared to be elevated on concrete piers
most of its route). The motorway was busy and even the local road was busy, Not
pleasant driving. This is a main north-south arterial route.

Stopped at Camping Corones. Luxurious site, with heated
sanitary facilities and a heated outdoor pool, but somehow we did not like it.
Full of Germans and very “ordered” parking.

Beautiful driving, through Corvara and Colfosco

The weather has been better than expected. Low cloud
initially in Cortina but then improving. No rain at all, despite the forecast,
other than the odd spot or two. Just goes to show that the forecasting in this
region is a black art still.

Left Camping Olympia and headed towards Corvara in Badia
    and then ...
