... lost it and started attacking me (which really hurt!). He is a bit of a messed up child and I am by no means the first person he has taken offence to, but it was still sad (and painful).

There are about 50 monkeys here at the moment. The majority have been confiscated as illegal pets, with others coming in as a result of habitat destruction etc. There are both spider monkeys and howler monkeys. You can't go in with the spiders as they can be pretty aggressive, but the howlers are less dangerous so can be handled more. The spider monkeys are incredibly intelligent and are also ...
