... he brought it out to me, of course I had to get out the camera for that one! Last night we had dinner and drinks ON THE BEACH not even twenty feet from the water. We are following the rule, if it is busy then we eat there. It is amazing how people operate here, so different then back home. If there are no tables open, no problem, they find one from some where, carry it out, and bingo you are all set. I don't know how long we ...

All in a canoe - well not the massage. Yesterday we decided to just chill around the hotel and swim in the sea. Our highlight was a full body massage and foot scrub. In Judy's words " have I died and gone to heaven?" It took over an hour and all for £14 each. A very relaxing day. ... t use chip and pin?? We have frustration with these quite often, I'm just glad I didn't leave my normal debit and credit cards at home.

We headed down the strip and we soon realised that finding a ping pong show wasn't going to be hard. Bangla road was insane, full of prostitutes and people pestering you. It was very loud, busy and ping pong shows galore. We decided we couldn't go in sober so first we went for a few drinks in a bar with pole ...

... We didn't really get a feel for this area, in fact it was awful, didn't feel like Thailand and we were looking forward to Rachel and Danny rejoining us so we could move onto the more interesting area called Kata. We did however quickly experience the nightlife in Patong and we were quite shocked (We didn't think anything could shock us anymore). Patong Beach Nightlife as it is called, is probably 800 meters long, with everything you can find in Thailand packed on either side ...

... was stacked up. We drove back to try and get a photo but scared it off so didn't manage to get one. It was about 3 foot long though, crazy. The bars & restaurants in Ko Lanta all spill out on to the beach on an evening, with colourful lights that you can see for miles. The rest of our time was spent relaxing at the sister hotels pool and a quirky little beach bar that we found on the first night. I think we spent more time drunk in Ko Lanta than anything else! We had ...
