    ... not to "look"!

    We then continued down the opposite flank before joining a farm road that took us back toward our cars. We stopped to replenish our water bottles before we carried on to a nice lunch stop before approaching our next peak.

    We lunched in the shadows of the ruins of a stone finca while looking down toward the terraced valleys stretching southeast towards Benidorm to the sea.

    Today's hike was billed by Bill as an easy one and indeed it was a lovely easy walk over 11KM with delightful views and company.

    Ours was a small but happy group, Bill, Roger, Claire, Lars and myself enjoyed a nice pace covering the distance in less than 2 hours and 45 minutes with stops for a "banana break" and lunch.

    We were happy to see Dany at the airport after a long day of travel. This morning Maria took us to the hospital on her way to work (to check my INR), we walked to the train station to make a reservation for tomorrow to meet Mike Spiller in Madrid, and caught a tram back to the Esteban's home.
