Wandered around town and explored some of the outdoor shops before heading up through some of the suburbs and past some little farms to a nice view point over the town and mountains. Just stunning. Eerst de gebruikelijke (rot)weg vanuit Arnafjord naar Vik. We hebben intussen gezien dat er in Vik gelijkaardige huisjes te huur zijn en dat zou onze dagelijkse uitstappen toch heel wat makkelijker maken. Sindsdien is de weg Arnafjord-Vik echt niet onze favoriet.

... or so ride to a place I didn't know anything about. By the time I got there it was about 9pm and I headed into the centre of town in the hope that there was a youth hostel there. I couldn't see anything, so went into a fast food place, which was the only place still open, to ask if there were any places to stay.
