A week in Innsbruck

... looks out to the Imperial Gardens. We spent many a time here and got to know the bartenders quite well. The breakfast served each morning was amazing. There were all sorts of meats, cheeses, fruits, yoghurts, breads, cereals, bakery items like croissants, waffles, cakes, there were jams and real honey comb.

Today Dan and I had our very first ski lesson and learnt to ski. As per usual Dan was a pro and I fell **** over head first go haha. Good to see that not much has changed in the last 12 months.

We got picked up by the ski school's car and taken to the ski rental school where we got kitted out in ski boots, skis, poles and pants. We decided our down jackets would suffice and sunglasses would prevent the snow for getting into eyes. Note to self the poles ...

... and I paid €31 for hire of economy boots, skis and poles. It does work out quite expensive, but it's certainly well worth it, just make sure you get there early as it does get very busy!
