On my way to Bulgaria I cursed a bear of a man called, unfittingly, Mimi. Mimi had convinced me that the coastal road to Bulgaria was quiet. How wrong he was! He was, however, right about a bag being full of live ducks.
I took the first opportunity to leave this road of doom, cruised south westerly and entered Bulgaria untwarted at a quiet border-crossing town which translates into English as Black Water.Â
... a regular basis. Like man say I was looking forward to be able to "sit" on the toilet. Well what a joke! Moldova/Ukraine is end of Europe, end of civilization and end of proper toilets!
Custums from Romania into Moldova went quiet ok. Of course we had to show passports, driving license, papers of the car and they wanted a small tour in the van. The second lady wanted exactly the same papers and the same tour and both had this sort of smile on their face ;-). Well, after paying ...
... a regular interval, which is necessary for me to truly deal with my eating problem. Also talked about this and with the new travel scheme (however silly it may sound) this should improve as well. Difficult to keep the food diary, but reading a special book now, this keeps me focused.
At the time of writing we are already in Ukraine, at the Black Sea, but little time/energy to write and no time spend in an internet café until now…so our Ukraine adventures will follow soon(er).
... enjoyed every second of it. The whole day on the water, spotting birds (even Pelicans) in a beautiful nature with some Belgium people on board...Definitely a day to put in my good memories diary.
On our way out of Romania I tried to find the music of Michaela Belicia, one of the traditional CDs we heard during our Romanian party. If anybody knows her or can find her music, Daniela maybe you know her? Would you mind buying this CD during your trip to Romania?

Golden Sands (Bulgaria) to Constanta (Romania)
Sunny periods 29 degrees
We left Golden Sands and travelled north to Constanta. The drive was fairly easy as we passed huge fields of barley, corn and sunflower (must be stunning when flowering). We also passed some new wind farms. We crossed the border with a little difficulty as they scrutinised our car paperwork but finally let us continue. We arrived in Constanta without a ...
... hotel and booked coffee body wrap treatments for today.
This morning it was hot and foggy when we got up. We walked down the beach strip and found some fun little shops and most importantly gelato. There is also a gondola that runs the length of the strip and beyond; we aren't entirely sure where it ends.
I went for my treatment today and was let down. They didn't have any coffee and I didn't have much else to choose from so I took a ...
Dear friends, After a few days of intense suffering, Luana's father passed away on March 1st. While relieved to have gotten a chance to see him before the end, we are nevertheless shocked and confused by this sudden change of fortune. Ion was a kind, jolly and witty kind of person and both of us were very close to him. He will be greatly missed by the family and his many friends. We wanted to thank all of you who have been close to us ...
Buzau, Romania gapostol... Romania. Found decent Italian restaurant but had a dj banging out **** western pop music very loud. Made a kind of joke with waiter like I couldn't hear him but the music remained loud until a business looking man with family complained. Ate my spag bol and carlsberg as quickly as possible and went to another bar where the beer was better but I was the only customer and waitress didn't ask if I wanted another drink, so I didn't. Walked back to hotel past busy boulevard and to sleep.
