... the manmade access tunnel into the underground system, and upon arriving at the main entry the large group was split into 3. We were in the second group. Once underground we entered the dry cavern of the system as the river doesn't flow through it. The cavern was fairly large and had a fair share of stalagmite/tite formations. ... home we took a detour to a small rural hotel in the outskirts of Ljubljana to have dinner prepared by the owner/chef, Martin, who our friends had befriended on a previous occasion.
