Drove from Trangsviken to Ostersund. Went to Jamtli Historieland open air museum. Dodged the rain to see goat and cow cheese and milk prepared, bought fresh flat bread (not as good as yesterday's) and heard a lot of the local history from "actors" in authentic dress. Finally decided to go inside when it hailed!!
So much fitted into one day, thanks to our great hosts. First went to see Stone Age rock carvings in the river rocks at Glosa. Then to a farm where the ladies were making traditional flat bread - delicious. Stopped at a lookout to admire Swedish mountain cows - looked like reverse Fresians, white and black, not black and white!
Then onto Ostersund for quick picnic on the lake shore on the island of Froson, before we ...
... the hydroslides then finally it was time to head up stairs to the sauna’s.
We then spent the next 4hours moving from one sauna to the next, it was fantastic. We went into 5 different sauna’s all differing in temperatures. We even spent a bit of time in the outdoor spa, which was surrounded in snow.
After lunch we experienced a Aufgas sauna, it is German inspired. For 15minutes cooked! There was a man putting ice onto the rocks which would melt and cause ...
So I had some period mishaps on the way to Ostersund on two out of three pants. I dont care if you think that.s gross. it.s what happened suck it up.
Klara found a place that would wash my clothes by the kilogram. So that.s what I did. The only catch was it wouldn.t be done until tomorrow. I took my clothes down there but Petter apparently couldnt find an extra key so we had to leave for the whole day. ...
Well according to tghe internet we were supposed to catch a bus at 5 a.m.
Dad didnt believe it so he grumbled until we got on the wrong train. Then. I lost my camera gloves and water bottle on that train.
