Clean, cheap, contemporary & modern furnishing, strategic location (3mins walk to beach and beach front shopping area).

      Would have given 5 stars:
      - if not for the inconsistent water heater flow, 1 minute hot, another minute cold.
      - Internet facility is not free, have to purchase credit.

... around the pool before going for our last treat, relaxation massages.

Thank goodness I asked for light pressure because when my turn came around, the masseuse starts with a traditional Thai massage before moving on to the aromatherapy massage. This meant that although I was contorted in various positions, I was spared being stood on. Vaughan having not learnt from the last time, asked for firm pressure and that is exactly ...

... ended in tragedy as we nearly run over a monitor lizard and it's family. The lizard was about 5 foot long! The highlight of our stay here though was our kayaking trip which was through mangrove swamps, caves and below cliffs faces where sea gypsy tribes once lived. It was a great experience and even though it poured down most of the way it all added to the ambiance of the day. We are moving on soon ,next stop Ko samui ...

... appreciate it when there are lots of other people there too because it's not a very big beach! We were extremely well fed and they throw in a free bucket too. I guess how much you enjoy it depends on the group you're with, luckily we had a really good group so we had a great time! I should mention one of the highlights of the trip was that when we got back to the boat at 10:30pm we got to go snorkelling to see the bioluminescent plankton, just like they did in the movie, ...
