Clean, cheap, contemporary & modern furnishing, strategic location (3mins walk to beach and beach front shopping area).

    Would have given 5 stars:
    - if not for the inconsistent water heater flow, 1 minute hot, another minute cold.
    - Internet facility is not free, have to purchase credit.

After our return from Phang Nga Bay, Drew took Malmuirie back into the Yacht Maven marina... looks like his sailing is over for the monsoon season which is kicking in, and it makes it easier with three of us on board.

We decided to head to Railey Beach for a few days which was beautiful as always, leaving the marina we got a lift out the main road and caught a local bus to Krabi followed by a songhew to Ao Nang. From Ao Nang ...

We LOVE krabi!! Literally cant get enough of how pretty this place is!

We have bought our ferry tickets for 6 pounds and off to Koh Phi Phi tomorrow which I am very excited about as heard Phi Phi is meant to be amazing. We were going to do a boat tour but again decided to save that for phi phi as Krabi seems to be the gateway for all the islands.

We spent the day back at the ...

... and little islands everywhere. It was like Halong Bay all over again - in a good way. We stayed at The Emerald Garden Resort which was a bit of a random pick when I booked. It is a series of cottages within the trees. There are a few pools, pool table, mini library and a restaurant. The distance to the beach is only a 5-10 minute walk so all was good - whew. We went out to dinner next ...
