Krabi is a small town close to the coast with a reputation for being a pleasant place to live with people to match; Ao Nang some 19 km away where I had chosen to stay is a beach resort where the local Thai businessfolk have more of a hardened reputation for being less somewhat less philanthropic, understandable really when western tourists of all shapes, sizes and types come here by the bucketload.

Clean, cheap, contemporary & modern furnishing, strategic location (3mins walk to beach and beach front shopping area).
Would have given 5 stars:
- if not for the inconsistent water heater flow, 1 minute hot, another minute cold.
- Internet facility is not free, have to purchase credit.
