He past out asleep around 8.30pm - meanwhile I felt like I was back at boarding school reading my book with a torch on my head under the covers!! ... not realising we could of just walked on the bridge. Teaches me to follow Colm and not wait for the guide! We walked through Loh Somoh Bay, which was covered in beautiful trees. It is actually part of a national park and we had to pay 100Baht (roughly 2) for the up keep of it. As we walked to Maya Bay, the sand was soft and white. We were under the impression, from reviews that we have read, that this was not a nice beach but as we walked we thought the reviews must be ...

... to the north, more 'family' touristy than 'backpacker' touristy. It's actually quite nice to be away from the bar and nightlife scene for a few days, and I'm having another early night tonight as still not feeling 100%. On Wednesday, I've booked 2 nights on Koh Lanta, which should be amazing - the island is a national park and anyone I've spoken to about it said it's super chilled and beautiful ...
