We woke up Friday, to our last morning in
the lovely Chaing Mai. The mafia boss cooked us a great breakfast before we
were picked up to the go to the airport. Keith, the owner of the B&B gave
us some helpful tips on places to eat and drink when we got to Koh Phi Phi.

Sure enough you could and it was a little bit irritating hearing the base thump until 2 AM in the morning. I don't mind the base if I had been a part of the activity, but just hearing the bass sound and not knowing exactly what's going on with that wee bit frustrating. ... shade but we managed anyway! After our day on the beach we headed back to the room and got ready. Our first stop on our way out was to book a bus and boat to koh tao. We then went for some dinner, and both Alex and I had been fancying an Indian curry so Alex had a rogan josh and I had butter chicken. It was nice but tasted a little like curry from back home and it made Alex feel a little ill so after walking around the markets briefly, ...

... first glimpse of Wat Arun from the river however the boat wasn't allowed to stop so we carried on down the river. Even though this boat trip was the same as yesterday we saw so many different things and our driver was cool pointing everything out for us like a real tour guide! After this we decided it was time to head back to base drop off our shopping and get some lunch after which we will try for the third time to get to Wat Arun, and hey they ...
