Staff were helpful and friendly. Central location was handy. Tour options where only slightly more expensive than other places. Pool was awesome, and room was a good size.

I loved it actually. Sure it is a big smelly mess of a place, with terrible infrastructure such as roads. But it has everything you need. It is easy to get around once you know the place, and there is heaps to do. We ran out of time to do a lot of things, and it is worth a trip back. The shopping is great, and if you …

... out the stings were coming from tentacles of the little purple pricks. It didn’t stop us though, we’re so tough we started to just hit them out of the way. We enjoyed a good hour of snorkelling on the island and about 30 minutes to enjoy the scenery and take some more photos. We can’t stress enough how beautiful and blue and aqua the water is. It is just so pristine, blue and picturesque.

The ones today were not as long and not as high up in the trees. They were fun none the less and some gold imagination was used in setting them up. We could see the sea and we above a small farm type place with little goats and other ...

    Travelling to Ao Nang

Today we moved on to Ao Nang. Before we left the room we could hear lots of music and noise from outside, we went and stood on the balcony and there was a huge parade walking through the Main Street, mostly children but some adults. It reminded me of being in guides and doing church parade, just with a lot more people. We had no idea what it was all about but there were children walking with flags, done dressed like princesses, some children in cars decorated with flowers and then some ...
