I loved it actually. Sure it is a big smelly mess of a place, with terrible infrastructure such as roads. But it has everything you need. It is easy to get around once you know the place, and there is heaps to do. We ran out of time to do a lot of things, and it is worth a trip back. The shopping is great, and if you …

We enjoyed a good hour of snorkelling on the island and about 30 minutes to enjoy the scenery and take some more photos. We can’t stress enough how beautiful and blue and aqua the water is. Today we moved on to Ao Nang. Before we left the room we could hear lots of music and noise from outside, we went and stood on the balcony and there was a huge parade walking through the Main Street, mostly children but some adults.
