Staff were helpful and friendly. Central location was handy. Tour options where only slightly more expensive than other places. Pool was awesome, and room was a good size.

We had a gecko appear from the bath plug (Miriam took great delight in filming me trying to remove said gecko) and a few little creepy crawlies! On the flip side we got to see a group of about 20+ monkeys swinging in the trees next to us when we were out on our moped one day. As well as experiencing a new island, one of the reasons ...

Vandaag een luie dag, gans de namiddag in een beach bar met wifi de komende dagen een ...

... best out of a bad bunch! We were wrong! After walking through the slums and shanti shacks to get to our new humble abode, we arrived at a building site which was our new view! We then looked at three doors (one which didn't lock) and opened these lovely entrances to be engulfed in a smell of petrol and urine (lovely combo) our bathroom door had holes punched through it so all we could do was get in and get out!! We put ...

... After this the driver seems content with his fuel vouchers and is quite keen to get rid of us. Telling us we can see Wat Arun if we take a long tail boat and will get to see the floating markets. Dropping us at the port he makes sure we get the price he promised for the boat. But the boat trip itself isn't quite what he said. Boat ride #2. We ended up on the same trip as yesterday except we went the opposite way around the canal this time. We did ...
