Staff were helpful and friendly. Central location was handy. Tour options where only slightly more expensive than other places. Pool was awesome, and room was a good size.

I loved it actually. Sure it is a big smelly mess of a place, with terrible infrastructure such as roads. But it has everything you need. It is easy to get around once you know the place, and there is heaps to do. We ran out of time to do a lot of things, and it is worth a trip back. The shopping is great, and if you …

... what koh phi phi is all about. The beach is lined with bars that all have little lawn chairs out front on the sand, strobe lights flashing out of control, and music so loud that you can't even hear yourself talk! They also have nightly fire shows which I imagine extremely fun! However they hadn't started yet as we are walking down the beach. It was also interesting to see the tide had gone out about 500 m and all of the longboats we're now resting on the sand but ...

We checked in and were taken to our villa (see photo) and it is everything that I imagined accommodation would be like in ...

... I found a hostel for £10 per night, so only £5 each, which was quite nice and only about 5 minutes walk from the beach. We checked in, and then went for some breakfast. Alex had pancakes and I had a muffin, and then we walked to the beach. Mum thought I was ill from sunstroke and as it was only the day before, I decided to lie in the shade and read instead of sunbathe. The beach wasn't the nicest - a bit shaley and not ...

... After this the driver seems content with his fuel vouchers and is quite keen to get rid of us. Telling us we can see Wat Arun if we take a long tail boat and will get to see the floating markets. Dropping us at the port he makes sure we get the price he promised for the boat. But the boat trip itself isn't quite what he said. Boat ride #2. We ended up on the same trip as yesterday except we went the opposite way around the canal this time. We did ...
