Staff were helpful and friendly. Central location was handy. Tour options where only slightly more expensive than other places. Pool was awesome, and room was a good size.

Final thoughts on Bangkok
I loved it actually. Sure it is a big smelly mess of a place, with terrible infrastructure such as roads. But it has everything you need. It is easy to get around once you know the place, and there is heaps to do. We ran out of time to do a lot of things, and it is worth a trip back. The shopping is great, and if you …

We checked in and were taken to our villa (see photo) and it is everything that I imagined accommodation would be like in ...

This makes the paddle through the cloudy waters an interesting mix of stubbing your toes on stones, sand, and squelching through sticky gloopy mud. This would cost a fortune in a spa ;). We make it to the shore and sit to dry our feet before putting the flip flops back on.
We walk across the short stretch of land that separates the east ...
