Staff were helpful and friendly. Central location was handy. Tour options where only slightly more expensive than other places. Pool was awesome, and room was a good size.

I loved it actually. Sure it is a big smelly mess of a place, with terrible infrastructure such as roads. But it has everything you need. It is easy to get around once you know the place, and there is heaps to do. We ran out of time to do a lot of things, and it is worth a trip back. The shopping is great, and if you …

we made it to the next spot ....an amazing inlet... Surrounded by gigantic limestone cliffs.... Each place we stop seems like imagination in over drive. Cheap too, only 20 baht each. We grabbed a quick bite to eat from the 7/11 and found an Irish bar for a drink. Again no sooner were we complaining how hot we were the weather had changed and ...

... as it was half the price and thought it would be an experience. What an experience! I would have called the bus knackered, Peta said it was modern! I thought some old man was breathing in my face but Peta corrected me to say it was the air con. I knew we should have paid extra. I really need to put my back packing head on and forget creature comforts. We checked in and were taken to our villa (see photo) and it is everything that I imagined accommodation would be like in ...

... itself is quite stoney and a mixture of sand and mud, with a bit of mangrove thrown in for good measure. This makes the paddle through the cloudy waters an interesting mix of stubbing your toes on stones, sand, and squelching through sticky gloopy mud. This would cost a fortune in a spa ;). We make it to the shore and sit to dry our feet before putting the flip flops back on.

We walk across the short stretch of land that separates the east ...
