... at Dr. F's; all the local people who I interacted with here asked if I would return and I said that if all goes according to plan, I would return next January. I said goodbye to my friend Zinat and spent the rest of the day packing and saying my goodbyes to some of my Swiss neighbours. In the afternoon, Daiga came by for a short visit and we exchanged contact info. Two new people to visit on my next trip to Latvija! So many people here fit the classic hipster-going-to-India-to-discover-them selves-and-get-high-on-the-beach mould. Makes me sick. Feeling quite ready to move on somewhere new now but again we can't find cheap accommodation online so we're gunna just get the train and see if we can find somewhere, yolo.

Sad to be leaving Hampi, but on to Kerala next.

... that we could hear over the sea anyway. Back at the guesthouse we heard a knock at the door not long after returning. It was the little man who runs it (and speaks no English) pointing out that it was raining, really heavily! We stood out on our balcony to witness the tropical rain and hoped it would clear the air a bit. It didn't. During the day we went and had breakfast on the seafront, and walked about a bit. As well as being muggy it was also overcast and very cloudy. We stopped ...
