On our days off from going to the school and helping out with after-school studies, we can go off exploring on our own. Thursday was our first full day off so we thought we'd bare the dusty bus rides and distance to Kovalam, a popular tourist destination for vacationers. We set off early for our relaxing prize that lay almost 2 hours in front of us. It required 3 different buses and constant attention to ensure we didn't miss any of our transfers. We ...

... until the next trip to IKEA or when I visit the brother in Gothenburg. We are still sticking to the veggie options but pancakes and fresh fruit with museli is anything but dull for breakie. Afterwards it was time to hit the beach and let these pale, pasty freckly white bodies finally catch some rays and synthesise some vitamin D. I got burned a bit on my shoulders (my bad) and angie a little on her legs but it was to be expected in some ways as we haven't hit the ...

... varkala. We played some cards and did some crazy dancing which was really fun. One day in our lunch break from the sweltering heat we met some English  girls who then came and joined us on the beach and we just chatted continuously until the sun went down. Another evening, as we had tested out most restaurant we thought we would try cooking our selves and booked on to an Indian cooking class. We got to pick 5 meals from the menu and we both really ...
