The 7 hours bus ride from Tirana to Sarande was peculiar. What is called national road in Albania is not more than a bumpy narrow dirt path going north to south. ... When we arrived at the port there was very little signage to inform us of where to go, we drove right through the gates into the port, past the port police and Greek police – no one seemed to care!
