Today was sleep in, swim, lunch (with swim), home for dinner, swim, dinner then bed. Milly: I don't have much to say about mum's, let's say, simple approach for today. I guess she must be tired. That was what I did when I was tired. Anyway, the first thing that happened to me was sleep. An amazing sleep in 'till 10:00, when I only got woken up by mum, dad and Maddie loudly chattering at the kitchen table mixed with a chorus of meowing cats ...

... earthquake made the wells salty. It must have been very inaccessible, although has two natural harbours back to back so shelter would never have been a problem. We have useful fans on the boat. Well, its been a few days. Our first stop was Npfaulion - I would worry about the spelling being correct but I've seen it spelled 5 different ways! We hiked up the 900 steps of the Palamitri fort after visiting the archaeological museum in town. We gave ourselves plenty of time to find out where our ferry would actual be, providing it actually existed! Turns out it did exist and by 9.30 we were setting sail, well less sail and more chugging as it was a massive ferry, with plenty of room...so who knows what the American was talking about!! After 50 minutes we were stepping foot onto the isle of Kos! Another ...

... wasn't one tomorrow. Ah. After sifting through a few websites we found one and booked the tickets. We had no idea who with or what ferry or where the port was...we'd just wing it. We took advantage of the internet and also purchased flights to ibiza for later in August...it worked out 3€ More expensive to fly, 1 hr flight rather than a 9hr boat ride! I'm all for budgeting but I feel it's a 3€ well ...
