... 10 - 15 feet lower than the streets and showing great sophistification for the time - water pipes, floor mosaics, columns, etc. Kors is less than 10 miles from the Turkish coast and lots of water based activity. They sell t-shirts here just in case you forgot to bring one.
Weather has been perfect. We've worked through the jet lag. I had lamb chops for breakfast. We're looking forward to the next few days!

We gave ourselves plenty of time to find out where our ferry would actual be, providing it actually existed! Turns out it did exist and by 9.30 we were setting sail, well less sail and more chugging as it was a massive ferry, with plenty of room...so who knows what the American was talking about!! ... got to Bodrum we started at the Castle. As we were wandering around I heard a strange noise, it turned out to be a peacock casually sitting in a tree, I think that was the highlight of the day. When we had finished looking around the castle, we wandered along the sea front, had a nice lunch in the market area, I bought some cool earrings, had an ice cream, then we went back to Akyaka.
