          ... utterly stunning. I managed to scoot through the palace in an hour, before my taking a walk though Alexander gardens then back to Issacs cathedral and board the last bus back to the boat.

          Cruises. It's like going aboard the zombie mothership. After lining up and getting a million checks we got on board. The first thing about cruises: food. Always available. As much as you want to eat. Pretty much anything. I had indian, ice tea, tea, water, rice, vegetables and ice cream first day for lunch. Cruises are a dangerous place for putting on weight.           ... it), and it easily occupies my mind, so the means of detaching myself from it have to be extreme.

          May 2015 was the coldest in Finland for 50 years, and June doesn't seem to get much warmer. That doesn't bother me much. From tomorrow onwards it's going to be sunny and hot for the next 5 weeks - in Galilee, Israel.

          ... is in summer they have enormous Mosquitos that cause big problems ......... Not sorry to miss that!

          The temperature dropped as we drove north, it got up to around 12 but fell to about 7. The further we travelled North the more snow was around (on the ground). Those frozen lakes I would like to see, well they are still here or at least parts of them. And we saw 2 reindeer. I did suggest we go and look some more but was assured you will see plenty ...
