This morning we drove through Slovenia's only National Park. The park covers a few mountains near the Slovenia, Italy, and Austria borders. The road over the mountain contains 50 switchbacks/hairpin turns; that doesn't count other turns, just the severe ones! Grant, had the pleasure of driving with other drivers who like to use both lanes, along with motorcycles, ...

Today we picked up a rental car and headed for the mountains! As with many rentals, we got something bigger than we reserved because that was what they had...it's not too big though, and so far it has treated us well. ... our remaining supplies. A smorgasbord of Hungarian sausages, ham and cheese. Then a period of rest for the older boys, since another bus arrived at 3 pm to pick up Sam, Brady and Bryce for a Canyoning adventure. This involves being driven high up into the surrounding mountain park, and then coming down a narrow canyon by jumping into pools of water, sliding down slick stones, and using ropes to drop down more vertical rock faces. Sam was ...

... I also don’t know if I pulled it three times, I also have no idea if its bad luck to pull it more or less times than that because I am now convinced those church bells cursed us and our trip.

I shall explain. On going to the gift shop to buy postcards, we had the misfortune to encounter the rudest woman I have ever come across, who literally barged me out of the way to be served and ignored us when we said quite sternly that yes, there was a bloody queue and she would ...
