      ... the laptop fixed but it needs more time to find the problem so will have to wait till Salzburg. We have enjoyed our stay here but it has been made more difficult by not having wifi at the flat. That has been the only disappointment. Tomorrow we have a taxi booked for 10 and the train leaves at 11.40. Trip to Salzburg takes 2 hours and we are booked into the Goldenes Theater Hotel for 4 nights.       ... the lake taking photos, but were rather disappointed that there was so little sun around and the snow on the mountains was covered by clouds until just before sunset as we rode back up to our apartment at Zasip. There we warmed ourselves with blackcurrent and dragonfruit tea –YUM!

      ... was reminded it was Sunday and nothing let alone the post office was open. Which was maybe a good thing as I window shopped through old town and saw way too many things I liked.       ... a seat... luckily enough though she is tall so can reach the handles- unlike if Katie had been standing.

      Then we arrived and walked down the lake and I tell you it was glorious! Very blue and clear water and a gorgeous view of the Alps on one side- pity the pictures couldn't do it justice.

      We then decided to get a bird's eye view of the lake so climbed the 130m up to the castle overlooking the lake- I believe it almost killed some of the girls... ...

      ... we knew them, and we had to explain that Vancouver has more people than the entire country of Slovenia! We stayed for the presentation, picked up some gingerbread and returned to Bled. The afternoon was spent lunching and relaxing. Deb took a walk around the lake while Jack walked around town. The path around the lake is about 6 km and is an easy walk.
