I made two further stops in northern Delaware at the Delaware Art Museum and Winterthur. The Delaware Art Museum in Wilmington is a rather small collection housed in a nice building in a suburban neighborhood that mostly consists of American art. The most notable features of the collection are over 100 works by Delaware-based illustrator Howard Pyle and works by members of the so-called Pre-Raphaelite school.

... back across the street and found the desk where we bought our tickets. We had half an hour until our tour....10:30am. Just enought time to see the Liberty Bell again! There was no need to read all the info this time, we just headed straight for the bell and took some pictures. It was the perfect way to pass some time, and after 15 minutes or so, we headed sheepishly back through the security gates for Independence Hall.

Today we didn’t do too much. Jared needed to do some work on drawings for an addition he is designing for my Uncle Mike so he did that pretty much all day and I relaxed. It was an exhausting weekend so we were pretty tired. We just stayed in tonight and watched some tv with my mom and dad.
