... 8221; we continue to chat and he points to his left, “my boat is right there, come look!” Hesitantly I get up and go to put some money on the table for my coffee, he pushes my hand away “no no, I pay.” At this point I’m thinking, here we go, he’s gonna take me on to his boat and kill me, fish food tonight I tell ya. It is grander, more complex, than any of the other palaces and it is located ...

... had a couple hours to wander around Fira, the main rim village, and have lunch before catching the bus and heading to Oia (pronounced 'eee-ahh') our destination! We didn't want to walk too far because we were lugging our carry-on bags with us and it was very steep and hilly. I even had my airplane pillow and hat attached to my pack although they both came unattached. I recovered the pillow but my hat was gone!

On Tuesday we flew to Heraklion - the main city in Crete. We then got a bus to our hotel in Sisi. The Hotel was called Sentido Vasi Hotel. It had 7 swimming pools including one with a volleyball net. When we got there it really hot even though it was night time. The next morning we walked to the volleyball pool and played all morning. I had great fun in the ...
