... buildings were very old, but were in extremely well kept condition. We were told that the Austrians take great pride in how their dwellings and businesses are kept up, and it was really remarkable how clean the city was. We walked past Mozarts house on the way. Some of the locals still wear the traditional dress, and lederhosen. We had a wurst for lunch at the local farmers market, very tasty. Its hard to find a bad meal anywhere here. ...

... half day work! When we left Salzburg we went into Germany to go to Berchtesgaden to go to Eagles Nest- Hitler's retreat. It is perched on the ridge of the highest mountain. We had to take special buses to a tunnel then walk through the tunnel into the mountain in order to take the lift up to the house. ... and His girlfriend came to pick us up around lunch time and we went to go up the alps. We took a very fast cable car up the mountain.
