Ban Dong Klang, Trat, Thailand blummo... The weather is really humid as its the rainy season and when the sun comes out its so warm!! So we are happy to be here, already really relaxed and looking forward to the next week of being lazy, swimming, checking out the waterfalls and maybe having a drink or two! Am trying to talk Tim into riding an elephant to the waterfalls. He wants to but thinks its too touristy. I totally agree but really want to do it!!

Bye for now will keep you all posted xx
Laem Ngop, Trat, Thailand timandtegan... decision to miss our train. (which is very unlike us, if only because we are cheap and wouldn't waste the money.) We had a lot of fun that day at the bowling alley, seeing a movie, and watching Wimbledon at an irish pub. Way later, after our train had gone, we headed back to the station to retrieve our backpacks. From there we checked into our usual hostel, The 4 Sons ...
Trat, Thailand kytravels... lunch. After lunch we headed to Koh Tong Lang for our second dive. The current was a little stronger here, but we saw a six-banded angelfish, sea cucumbers, giant kelp, yellow striped snapper, and vase coral. Again, our visibility was phenomenal! After our second dive we headed back to the dock and back to our bungalows. I planned to go to the main road for seafood BBQ but by the time I got up, I was too exhausted. I had dinner at ...
Koh Chang, Thailand bizarreirishsta... meita oli vessassa vastassa edellinen "asukas" eli n. 25 senttia pitka lisko. Vanha asukas kuitenkin kerasi kimpsunsa aika nopeasti meidat nahdessaan ja poistui seinan raosta. Yolla se palasi viela huutelemaan meille jotain rivouksia vessaan. Aamiaisella tuli riikinkukko poydan viereen ja perusliskot on koko ajan kavereina. Ranta on kylla ihana ja oltiin tanaan aikaisesta aamusta iltapaivaan ottamassa aurinkoa poolilla ...
Koh Chang, Thailand ii_ja_aa... I'll lose a cancellation fee, but it's better than going to the airport tomorrow and waiting for the official flight cancellation (full refund), and then have to find a way to Siem Reap anyway. When traveling, it's good to be flexible. A good portion of this morning, I sat in a big tree overhanging the sea along a white sand beach. I miss being with Nancy on this family-oriented holiday, and ...
Koh Chang, Thailand lambs... umbrella as he knows I burn (which I have a few times!)....then after an hour or so a waiter comes to bring us cold wet clothes and fresh fruit....really, it's pretty amazing. Our afternoons consist of having a really nice lunch, taking a walk down the beach, jumping in the huge waves of the ocean and/or swimming in the pool, reading, Meagan having her massage, etc. We normally also take a short stroll to the "market area" and buy some snacks, fruit for the monkey's etc ...
Ko Chang, Thailand lucbergeron86... around are starting to look like snakes to me. 6:30 a.m. - Just had my meeting with Teacher. Today's exercise is "Arising and Ceasing," designed to bring about extreme relaxation. I only nodded off for ten minutes during the last twenty-four hours, during a sitting meditation session. 7:11 a.m. - Feeling good now that I've had breakfast and the sun is up. Determined to have a good day ...
Trat, Thailand oriolesman... being used a tad euphemistically as there was nary a sauna, spa or room service in sight. However, if the word, for you, brings to mind thoughts of long bouts of navel-gazing followed by well-deserved naps, peace and quiet, solitude bordering on sensory deprivation and lazy days followed by lazier nights then you wouldn’t argue with the label.

We booked a lovely little cabin that boasted perhaps the hardest mattress in all of Thailand.

It wasn’t mentioned ...
