... our hotel people were STARING at us. This one guy almost FELL of his bike because he was looking at us instead of the corner he was trying to get around. Apparently Ladies (and gents) rule 101 for Athens is DONT get dressed up at night! So we returned to our hotel, got changed and hailed a cab this time. Our cab driver was the most unsociable grumpy old man I have ever seen. He didn't know where he was going and we were pretty sure he was swearing at everyone and ...

... Peloponnesian peninsula from the Greek mainland, thus effectively making the former an island. The builders dug the canal through the Isthmus at sea level; no locks are employed. I love visiting ruins, but always wish I could see ...

The resort has two long jetties on both sides so even if the sea gets rough people can still swim in calm waters. What I love with this resort is that there are several options of different spots where one can swim. There are sandy shallow coves, pebbled ones and it is the other alternative of swimming outside the jetty which is my favorite and it is the one opposite the Grill Restaurant.

Our Stay at the Resort

Loutraki is only an hour’s drive from Athens and we came here a little after 11:00 am.

Reception: The staff was very polite and we were immediately made welcomed. Even the guard was there for us and he was the one who showed us to our bungalow and even carried our two bags from the parking lot! Zeta was the lady who gave me the first pieces of useful information of the round area but Yianni was the one whom I got ...
