The Italians have done a great job but spoilt it by decorating inside with a lot of Italian furniture, relocated mosaic floors etc. from Ancient Greek sites. Amazing! If we could do it over again we would actually skip the mainstream stuff like the ruins and get a more local intimate look at the villages and produce. Up these stairs to the main road and across the road and very slightly to our left we found the path. It is a wide rock path but the rocks are very stable. After about .8 km we came to a sign directing us to the cave. This was a smaller but adequate path. Along this path we could here someone sawing down trees and before arriving at the cave we were met on the path by a ...

... during which the coach thermometer showed it dropped from 29 to 21 degrees. There was the obligatory cafe stop which added at least 25 minutes to the journey. Barry came back to the coach though with a Turkish Eye for me.
No rep at the hotel or on the coach, just a CD the driver played as we approached the airport.
Unloaded in the rain, under cover but I think more of a sun shade than roof!
Inside one long queue followed another. A ...
