The Gewandhaus orchestra was having an open-air concert tonight that was Eintrittfrei (free admission). It is very reminiscent of the Symphony on the Prairie at home. Besides getting to hear one of the world’s leading orchestras, I would have an opportunity ...

I have been enjoying one of the television channels that I found. It is one that features German music by contemporary singers. When one listens to most radio stations here or hears music in various stores, it is generally in English, so this is a welcome discovery to become more acquainted with German musical artists.

I awoke on Saturday morning with a mild sore throat, runny nose and feeling a bit tired. I decided to stay in and not venture out until ...
