What a day, walking in the footsteps and hometown of the great reformer! Being in the place where he gave his last sermons was such a moving experience. Eisleben truly is the place of Luther's final journey.

... we found that the next train was an hour away, and we were a bit concerned we might not be able to get back to our hotel tonight. So we walked back to the hotel and joined G&G for dinner in the hotel restaurant. A very traditional German restaurant and I was extremely pleased to see potato dumplings on the menu.
