... afternoon when there was a concert at Nikolaikirche. From the advertising on the church I was expecting an organ concert, however it was a combination organ and Blechbläser (brass) concert. ... the cobblestone streets. It is likely that after a few days all of these items which now seem to be a bit of a distraction will likely just become routine sounds. Another thing is that my bedroom is next to the building’s entry door, so I will see if that is disruptive during the night. The apartment also has outside roll-up shutters that I know would block out extraneous light and possibly noise as well. I will see how I adjust prior to going to that extreme however. ...
