This particular vendor was probably busier than any other I have seen on my trip. I probably waited about 10 minutes to pay for them, although the workers there were quite efficient―they were simply that busy. We then went to a Metzgerei (butcher) to purchase something for a future meal (which in this case turned out to be 3 different Würste) and also ...

... looked like a quaint German pub so in we headed. I am sure we look like tourists as everyone did turn to look at us when we walked in and has soon as the barman asked what we wanted in German we had no chance. He hardly spoke a word of english but we did manage a beer and a wine (in a glass with a handle) with the help from a local. So we got chatting to the local as you do in a foreign town and it was all fun and games for a while but then ...

... me, expressing the utmost charm, eloquence, and taste, "You're hot." Once I realized what he said, I was not only peeved because of the fact that he was hitting on me, but also because he automatically spoke English to me. What was it that pegged me in this guy’s mind as an English speaker? Not impressed in the least, and a little bit irked, I just ignored him. That’s when he grabbed my elbow, probably in a ...
