... Eastern France, we hit speeds of over 315 kph (over 195 mph) and consistently maintained speeds above 300 kph. Talk about traveling in comfort, our train was the epitome of smooth, comfortable and fast. One could barely sense any movement at all, except when a train passed heading in the opposite direction.
