... for this to happen. The locals also wanted this answered and you could almost feel the speaker wanting to say ' Zis meeting ist over'!!! Seriously though it was great fun and made what is a boring building more animated. And we did get into the Reichstag without queuing up so that was brilliant.
Later joined up with Tan and Nathan, walked the streets of Berlin, had plenty of coffee and ...
... all singing all dancing international train station is built in the middle of nowhere, a twenty minute walk to the nearest place of interest. Fortunately there are other stations at which to leave the train. Berlin can best be described as a fascinating city of extreme contrasts. The former East German suburbs are depressing and glum. The Eastern part of the city centre is full of new building ...

Berlin, Germany carovachon(Jim) The American invasion of Berlin has been turned back, defeated by rain and cold. We slept in this morning, enjoying the luxury of Marriott beds and two separate rooms, paid for by the very last of Amy's stockpiled Marriott Rewards points. At 11:00 a.m., we went out for our walking tour of the city, clad in shorts and rain jackets. Leaving the hotel, we found 50 degree ...
Berlin, Germany oneyearaway... from the Castle Church where Luther nailed his 95 theses. However, on Oct. 31, 1517 if the theses were nailed to the Castle Church they would also have been nailed to the other churches in town, including the very interesting doors on Luther's home church. Another interesting tidbit about the town church is that it was originally surrounded by a cemetery. The graves have been moved, but the tombstones remain affixed to the ...
Wittenberg, Germany barbg... happier to see a Holiday Inn sign. This was an interesting experience and I think I was proposed to on the train, not sure though he could have just been talking to himself. I however was very proud since this was my first time navigating the underground and streets alone. If ever lost in Berlin, just remember that Bono is your best friend. U2 will get you pretty much everywhere and all roads lead to Potsdamer Platz. On our way to dinner, we are stopped by ...
Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany destructogrl... all the vocab to discuss the difference between the protrayl of men and women in literature. Monday night was great. I got 2 free invites to a gym in the city so Jacqueline and Matias and I went in there. Best of all Matias drove so that was fun, hooning around Berlin in his VW Golf. I explained all about the concept ´laps on chaps´but have yet to find a Chapel Street equivilent in Berlin. Anyway I did a dance class (nsns ...
Berlin (still), Germany sally.milner... thought wrong, like my memory is that good. Lets just say that sadly enough the oilers lost and life sucked. I had to leave before it was realy over because I was utterly disappointed, and probably would have broken some of the friendly german´s tables or silverware. The next morning, wonderfully enough, we had the luck to catch a train down to Munich to watch germany beat the heck out of someone, maybe it was ecuador. Whoever it was, they had better be ready for a world of hurt.

We arrive in a city and it is raining and everyone tells us, "the weather has been brilliant the last month, it only got bad yesterday." And so it is in Berlin.
