... in Istanbul. Looking forward to getting started. So far Turkey is an interesting place. It is a blend of old and modern, as well as eastern and western culture. There is supposed to be a hot springs not all that far from here that opened up during the last large earthquake. Oh yes, do not be here during an earthquake!

OK, I think I'm ready for some sleep now. Tomorrow should be a fairly relaxed day...and more good food =)

... way back to Taksim Square and quickly found a cafe on a side street where we could get some cheap food and play some backgammon. Cheap did not mean bad though and I had some great turkish ravioli for 9 lira (mmmm dough wrapped stuff is good in any culture) and the back gammon games were fun too (1-1 if anyone's interested). Still tired from a day in the sun and anticipating an early start to catch our flight we made it an early night.
