    Actually, there is no business there now and it looks run down. Next was our old airbase which is now used for some commercial, charter and private jet operations.     ... for a table and having two beers and leaving for the next pub. Home at 10:30 or the ship leaves!! We had our friends Carol and Rob in our group so that made it fun. It was so loud everywhere we couldn't hear the guide. All the locals were so young and we looked like a group of fish out of water...or beer, as it were...We should have gone back to Papa Joe's and just listened to the fake musicians and soccer fans! ...

    ... go down and climb back up. Then they have a little train running on a hand pulley to pick up the grapes and take them down the hill. The harvest was a few weeks ago so the grapes are gone and the leaves are falling off. Although they haven't had much rain the sun and coolness is said to have made for excellent grapes, but not very many...This part of the Rhine is where we went a couple of years ago, but the views are still spectacular.     ... delicious mustard! After lunch, we went to the top deck to sit and watch the beautiful scenery. We learned about the wine in the region and the difficulties of harvesting grapes on the steep hills. Later in the afternoon we had a tour of the kitchen.     We left Bonn very early morning today and arrived in Arnhem. This wasn't a scheduled docking area but couldn't dock in Nijmegen as they were working on the docking area because of the flooding that had occurred.
