... site has been so carefully preserved and made accessible to us visitors with lots of glass, good natural light, and easy to navigate paths…There are probably 7 distinctly different viewing sections. The entire structure has been built out of the sandstone/limestone material indigenous to this area…No bones were found and the best guess is that the bones were taken by early scavengers who took them for religious purposes or (worst case scenario) the ...

We embarked on the ship yesterday afternoon after walking to The Great Market Hall. After dinner the ship sailed past Budapest around 9:15pm when the city was all lit up. Arrived in Mohacs this morning. Hot. Hot. Hot. Taking a tour to Peçs, Hungary after lunch. Tried a new dish today! Potato noodles with cabbage and mushrooms in a cream sauce. Fantastic! Rained in Peçs during our tour so we just drove around looking at the ...

During dinner we were visited by a local band (accordian, 2 guitars and a string bass). We clapped and some (including Jean) danced. We walked back and fell asleep after a little ...

Late party in the neighborhood and grey morning means everyone is ready to move on. Today turns into a longer drive than expected, but more scenic. Actually caught the Slovenian border, there wasn't much too see - a change in the color of the road and the standard EU sign indicating standard speed limits of the country you are entering. Once in Hungary, we ended up cutting across the countryside since there were no ...

Another rude awakening, this time it was our lovely verbose cruise director's voice over the intercom system. "Goooood Moooorning Laaadies and Gentlemen". Really?

I missed breakfast, as the clock in our cabin was an hour slow. Trust me, missing a meal is no biggy, as there is always food somewhere. They provided an early lunch as the included excursion was to Pecs. (Pronounced “Pech” )
