We embarked on the ship yesterday afternoon after walking to The Great Market Hall. After dinner the ship sailed past Budapest around 9:15pm when the city was all lit up. Arrived in Mohacs this morning. Hot. Hot. Hot. Taking a tour to Peçs, Hungary after lunch. Tried a new dish today! Potato noodles with cabbage and mushrooms in a cream sauce. Fantastic! Rained in Peçs during our tour so we just drove around looking at the ...

We had an early breakfast and since we had some time, Jean tried finding something at the market before we left at 8:30, but she didn't know if anything would be open so early. She had good luck finding some things and only had a nickel left in Bosnian currency. We were on a toll road. When we went to exit the toll booth, our bus was pulled over by the Bosnian police! Apparently our driver had been caught speeding three weeks ago on the last ...

Once in Hungary, we ended up cutting across the countryside since there were no ...

Another rude awakening, this time it was our lovely verbose cruise director's voice over the intercom system. "Goooood Moooorning Laaadies and Gentlemen". Really?

I missed breakfast, as the clock in our cabin was an hour slow. Trust me, missing a meal is no biggy, as there is always food somewhere. They provided an early lunch as the included excursion was to Pecs. (Pronounced “Pech” )

... more of a breakfast spread since there would be more demand if all of the guests at all of their apartments showed up looking for breakfast.

On the road by 9:45, now we are driving fast along another set of winding country roads and small scenic villages. Sam is feeling queasy, but otherwise we are making good time. Around 10:45 Annamarie calls to ask when we might be arriving. The Fulbright bus arrived early, so they decided not to wait and get ...
