    ... by a flight back to Honolulu, and another, much later in the evening, to Samoa.     ... It brought us memories of home before the fire.

    We headed back to Eleele so Nectar could retrieve his car. We ate lunch at McDonalds since we were starving and already in the parking lot.

    We wanted to go to the Art Night in Hanapepe, but it was only early afternoon, so we headed over to the Kauai Coffee Company. The self guided tour was interesting and we bought some coffee for Nick's mom. We found some shops in Waimea to buy some cheap souvenirs.

    ... 2 hours wandering the gardens. It's mostly covered so it doesn't matter that it rains a bit, except, P and I just get into an open area when the skies open up on us. We debate going on but end up running back to the shelter of some small coconut trees. Good thing as we are fairly soaked in just that short amount of time!
