We got into Klagenfurt on time at 17.18. Took just over 20 minutes to get to our four star hotel. It was a bit of a disappointment - but win a few, lose a few. Just when you think it can’t get any better than Germany, over the mountains (and through lots of tunnels) lies the gorgeous valley of Seeboden in Southern Austria. The landscape here reminds me of Switzerland, and our little spot looks out over green meadows, a lake, lush forests and snow topped mountains. Pretty and relaxing, but a bit cold. We stayed here last year, and our sweet landlady was as happy to see us as we were to see her. ...
