      ... and very cheap – we found a street stall selling amazing pancake/crumpet cakes which were laced with butter, condensed milk and chocolate pieces which melted into a sweet goo, delicious!! Our favourite dish so far was Nasi Campur (rice with a mix of meats, veg, and potato), cheap and tasty - and the component parts varied depending on the region.       ... get to our Hostel. It was not looking good when we first arrived as the place was a dump and it was full. The little Balinese woman claimed 'I hab good hostel for you and friend, I take you, bery, bery nice' at first we were dubious but this place was a dive so we were prepared to risk it.
